A Heart 2 Help
CONNECTING PEOPLE IN NEED WITH PEOPLE WILLING TO HELP
INTRODUCTION
Deep down, people have an innate desire to help others. Yet, the challenge lies in knowing how, who, and where to extend that helping hand. While traditional avenues like food banks, hospitals, and shelters are wonderful, many people lead busy lives and struggle to find time for volunteering. Moreover, there are countless individuals with unique needs that may go unnoticed. A Heart 2 Help is an app that seamlessly connects compassionate individuals with those in need, providing real-time support when it matters most.
PROCESS
In addition to our design team syncs, we met with our client several times a week over the course of 4 weeks to debrief on progress updates, inquire about technical limitations, and continuously align the vision with the design.
Overall, this was a inter-connected and collaborative process, and we were able to successfully handoff the designs.
The app has since been launched on both the App Store and Google Play, with $15,150 raised on Netcapital and a valuation set at $5,000,000. A Heart 2 Help continues to make a positive impact within the community and aims to expand its reach further.

Problem Statement
Many people feel disconnected from their neighbors and peers, leading to a sense of loneliness and alienation.
In today’s world, many people face challenges that can feel overwhelming, from the elderly needing help with daily tasks to single parents juggling multiple responsibilities. Those with physical or mental health conditions often struggle to access support, deepening their sense of isolation. While traditional support systems like family and local organizations can help, they may not always be available or sufficient, especially in times of crisis or in underserved areas. Geographic barriers, limited resources, and stigma can prevent people from seeking help, and the fast-paced nature of modern life leaves little time for community connection.
The Solution
Connecting people in need with people willing to help
Connecting people in need helps foster a sense of community and creates opportunities for meaningful relationships by bridging gaps that often go unnoticed in a fast-paced world. It encourages empathy, understanding, and collaboration. In a time when people can feel isolated or overwhelmed, creating these connections offers a space for individuals to be seen, heard, and supported, not just through tangible resources but through emotional support as well.
